Phlebectomies
It is the removal of the varicose vein branches from under the skin using very small incisions. The procedure can also be done in the clinic for isolated varicose veins. It’s performed under local anesthesia whith only small amounts of local anesthetic needed. The incisions are usually very small (less than 2 mm) and do not require closing sutures. Most phlebectomy procedures however are done at the same time as surgery.
